Who We Are
The Lenape of Delaware – Gadvikian Tribe is a private tribal, cultural, educational, and faith-based association dedicated to preserving heritage, promoting community service, encouraging self-development, and honoring the Creator. The tribe serves as a gathering place for individuals who share common interests in culture, family, education, service, faith, agriculture, leadership, and historical preservation. While not federally recognized, the organization operates as a lawful private association exercising constitutional rights of association, religion, education, and cultural expression.
Our History
Founded to preserve heritage, strengthen families, and promote cultural awareness, the Lenape of Delaware – Gadvikian Tribe has developed educational, agricultural, publishing, faith-based, and community outreach initiatives designed to serve present and future generations. The tribe seeks to bridge traditional wisdom with modern opportunities while maintaining respect for history, spirituality, self-governance, and community responsibility.
